Preserved for Assignment

I looked at my life and saw that I have enjoyed God's mighty protection and preservation. I have never been involved in a motor accident, never been sick or down with any sickness nor use a single drug in the past 14 years. I have been on the progress path in my career. I am not where I want to be yet, but I am not where I used to be. I have a peaceful family and a peaceful home. My wife had our first baby with no single complication whatsoever...There is peace all around me, tranquility in my mind, marriage and work. He gave me job I wasn't qualify for and keeps showing me pictures of good things to come. Indeed He has Kept me in all my ways. In every step I take, I see him involved.

How can God 'keep me in all my ways' and I forget the purpose for His Preservation? but then, can I authoritatively say I know His exact purpose for my life?

Lord Help me. I need you...Keep working on me as you lead me to doing your will. Let me be able to say at every point in time that "[Not in my own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in me [energizing and creating in me the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight." Phil. 2:13 (Amplified Version).

I also pray that you help me to understand that I am created just for one thing , to SERVE you. Help me to know that you never gave me life, preserve that life for serving the company that I work for or will work for, but to know and understand that through my career and involvements, I should SERVE YOU.

Let every day in my life be a day to SERVE YOU, regardless of the goodies or the difficulties therein.
